Stripes the Clown's "real-life" alter ego is
Justin A. Foley, a local entertainer who has many different skills and
interests. More about Justin can be found at
his website. Stripes the Clown is certified in Standard First Aid and CPR. He is qualified to perform Level A CPR on adults, and Level C CPR on children and infants. Stripes is very much your standard clown--a balloon twister, a juggler, a trickster and a comedian rolled into one man with a colorful suit. Where he stands out is that his act is rarely, if ever, the same, because it is worked around the specific party or event he is attending AND the individuals who are involved. In other words, using Justin Foley's experience in event planning, Stripes offers customized performances to his clients--it's the only way he knows how to work. He is also very interactive, always incorporating his "audience" into his performances--helping the younger audiences develop social skills, and helping the less-younger audiences how to let go and have fun. Stripes is known for his bright blue jacket, his bright orange hair and shirt, his stripy pants, tie and suspenders, and his favorite top hat. He wears stripes a lot because they bring out his eyes. He likes to add gizmos and gadgets to his outfits, but sometimes they go haywire, and who knows what to expect! Stripes likes the idea of being available and accessible to as many people as he can, which means he is very reasonably priced for his performances.
